Information on Personal Data Processing by LeXtom s.r.o. within the European in India Project

According to § 19 et seq. of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Data Protection Act”), in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR Regulation”).

1. DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller within the European in India project is LeXtom s.r.o., registered at Námestie Osloboditeľov 62/3, Liptovský Mikuláš, 03101, Company Registration Number: 50251015, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Žilina, section Sro, file number: 65459/L (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).

2. SCOPE AND CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The Controller processes personal data to the necessary extent, which includes:

  • Identification Data: title, first name, last name, residential address, date of birth, passport number and its scan.
  • Contact Data: e-mail address and phone number.
  • Other Data: information regarding the use of our services, photographs, and video recordings from events or activities within the project.

3. SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is obtained directly from you, whether through electronic forms, telephone communication, or other interactions. Personal data may also be obtained from third parties, provided they have a legal basis, or from publicly available sources such as commercial and other public registers.

4. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

Your personal data is processed mainly for the following purposes:

  • Fulfillment of contractual obligations arising from concluded agreements.
  • Management and record-keeping of participants in the European in India project.
  • Provision of services, such as accommodation and transportation reservations.
  • Marketing and offering of products and services, including sending newsletters and other marketing communications.
  • Organization of social and cultural events within the project.
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations arising from accounting and tax regulations.
  • Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the Controller and the data subjects.

5. LEGAL BASIS

Personal data is processed based on:

  • Compliance with legal obligations.
  • Performance of a contract between the Controller and the data subject.
  • Consent you have provided for processing personal data for marketing purposes.
  • Legitimate interest of the Controller to protect rights and property, as well as to provide quality services.

6. DURATION OF PROCESSING AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a period of 10 years after its termination or until the withdrawal of consent (if processing is based on consent). After this period, the personal data will be deleted or anonymized, unless required by applicable legal regulations.

7. ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA AND CATEGORIES OF DATA RECIPIENTS

Your personal data may be accessed by:

  • Employees and authorized persons of the Controller.
  • Service providers who assist the Controller in fulfilling the contract and are bound by confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, if required to fulfill legal obligations.

8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict the processing.
  • Transfer personal data to another controller.
  • Object to the processing of personal data based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes.
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

9. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT TO PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an e-mail to info@europeaninindia.com, stating your identification details (name, surname, address) and informing us that you no longer wish for us to process your personal data for marketing purposes.

10. UPDATE OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

This document may be regularly updated to maintain compliance with legal regulations or changes in our data processing practices. You will be informed of all significant changes through our communication channels.
